Since we've been asked quite a bit, yes, this can be used to turn on a LCD monitor if it uses a momentary switch. This module replicates a momentary switch, so it can be used for anything that uses a momentary switch to turn the device on. LCD monitors, laptops, desktops, docking stations, external hard drives, etc. BUT if you aren't using this for a laptop/pc you might want to purchase the Auto-On Module (non pc usage) as it's a little cheaper and will do the job just fine.



Mounting Hole For Jack: The mounting hole should be .27 inches.. so a 1/4 inch bit and twisted a very slight bit should be perfect.

Mounting Hole For Switch: The mounting hold should be .25 inches.. so a 1/4 bit should be perfect.'
